Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My sister vowed to perform the pilgrimage, but she has died."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "If she had a debt, would you pay it on her behalf?"The man answered, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then Allah has even more right to be repaid."

عن ابن عباس قال

جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال إن أختي نذرت أن تحج وقد ماتت قال أرأيت لو كان عليها دين أكنت تقضيه قال نعم قال فالله تبارك وتعالى أحق بالوفاء
