A man from Banu Hujaym said to Ibn Abbas, "What is this religious ruling that has spread widely among the people, that whoever performs tawaf around the Kabah has exited the state of ihram?"Ibn Abbas replied, "It is the practice of your Prophet ﷺ, whether you like it or not."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن قتادة قال سمعت
قال رجل من بني الهجيم لابن عباس ما هذه الفتيا التي قد تشغفت أو تشعبت بالناس أن من طاف بالبيت فقد حل فقال سنة نبيكم ﷺ وإن رغمتم
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 2513, see also 2539."Tashaghghafat," with the ghayn before the fa, meaning it whispered to them and scattered them, as if it had entered the innermost part of their hearts."Tashaabat," with the plain ain and ba, meaning it dispersed them.
