The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no deed more excellent than what is done during these days," meaning the ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah.Someone asked, "Not even striving in the path of Allah?"He replied, "Not even striving in the path of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and his wealth and returns with neither."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن سليمان عن مسلم البطين عن سعيد بن جبير
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال ما عمل أفضل منه في هذه الأيام يعني أيام العشر قال فقيل ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله قال ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله إلا من خرج بنفسه وماله ثم لم يرجع بشيء من ذلك
