I was a young boy running about with the other boys when I turned around and saw the Prophet of Allah ﷺ coming up behind me. I thought to myself, the Prophet of Allah ﷺ has come for no one but me. So I ran off to hide behind the door of a house, but before I knew it, he had reached me, taken hold of the back of my neck, and given me a playful shove.He said, "Go and call Muawiya for me."Muawiya was his scribe. So I ran off and came to Muawiya and said, "Answer the call of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ, for he has need of you."

كنت غلاما أسعى مع الغلمان فالتفت فإذا أنا بنبي الله ﷺ خلفي مقبلا فقلت ما جاء نبي الله ﷺ إلا إلي قال فسعيت حتى أختبئ وراء باب دار قال فلم أشعر حتى تناولني فأخذ بقفاي فحطأني حطأة فقال اذهب فادع لي معاوية قال وكان كاتبه فسعيت فأتيت معاوية فقلت أجب نبي الله ﷺ فإنه على حاجة
