The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in the house of Maymunah when water for ablution was set out for him at night. Maymunah said to him, "Abdullah bin Abbas placed this here for you."He said, "O Allah, grant him understanding in religion and teach him the interpretation."
حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثنا حماد عن عبد الله بن عثمان بن خثيم عن سعيد بن جبير
كان رسول الله ﷺ في بيت ميمونة فوضعت له وضوءا من الليل فقالت له ميمونة وضع لك هذا عبد الله بن عباس فقال اللهم فقه في الدين وعلمه التأويل
Its isnad is sahih. It is a repetition of 3033, and see 3061.
