The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah curse the Jews. Fat was forbidden to them, yet they sold it and consumed its price. When Allah forbids something to a people, He forbids them its price as well."
حدثنا محبوب بن الحسن حدثنا خالد عن بركة أبي الوليد
أن النبي ﷺ قال لعن الله اليهود حرم عليهم الشحوم فباعوها فأكلوا أثمانها وإن الله إذا حرم على قوم شيئا حرم عليهم ثمنه
Its isnad is sahih. Mahboob bin Hasan is Muhammad bin Hasan bin Hilal Basri. His name was Muhammad and his nickname was Mahboob, and he is better known by the latter. He is trustworthy. Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Al-Thiqat, and Bukhari cited him. Khalid is Hazza. This hadith is a repetition of 2678.
