The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seventy thousand of my nation will enter Paradise without reckoning."I asked, "Who are they?"He replied, "They are those who do not seek ruqyah, do not believe in evil omens, do not practice augury, and place their trust in their Lord."
Its isnad is sahih. Husayn is Ibn Abdul-Rahman. The hadith is an abridgment of 2448 and 2449. "Yataafuna" is from iyafah, with a kasrah on the ayn, which is the practice of driving off birds and drawing omens from their names, their calls, and other such signs. This was a widespread custom among the Arabs, and it is frequently mentioned in their poetry, as stated by Ibn Athir.
