Zakariya bin Umar told me that Ata informed him that Abdullah bin Abbas invited Fadl to a meal on the day of Arafah.Fadl said, "I am fasting."Abdullah replied, "Do not fast, for the Prophet ﷺ had a milk-pail brought to him and drank from it on this day, and the people follow your example."
