The Prophet ﷺ used to pray wrapped in a single garment, using its excess folds to shield himself from the heat and cold of the ground.
حدثنا أبو النضر حدثنا شريك عن حسين عن عكرمة
كان النبي ﷺ يصلي في ثوب متوشحا به يتقي بفضوله حر الأرض وبردها
