The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Jibreel took Ibrahim to Jamrat al-Aqaba, and Satan appeared before him, so he pelted him with seven pebbles and Satan sank into the ground. Then he came to the middle Jamrah, and Satan appeared before him, so he pelted him with seven pebbles and Satan sank into the ground. Then he came to the farthest Jamrah, and Satan appeared before him, so he pelted him with seven pebbles and Satan sank into the ground.When Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son Ishaq, Ishaq said to his father, 'Father, bind me tightly so I do not struggle and splatter you with my blood when you slaughter me.' So he bound him. When he took the knife and was about to slaughter him, he was called from behind him, 'Ibrahim, you have fulfilled the vision' [Saffat 37:104–105]."
حدثنا يونس أخبرنا حماد عن عطاء بن السائب عن سعيد بن جبير
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن جبريل ذهب بإبراهيم إلى جمرة العقبة فعرض له الشيطان فرماه بسبع حصيات فساخ ثم أتى الجمرة الوسطى فعرض له الشيطان فرماه بسبع حصيات فساخ ثم أتى الجمرة القصوى فعرض له الشيطان فرماه بسبع حصيات فساخ فلما أراد إبراهيم أن يذبح ابنه إسحاق قال لأبيه يا أبت أوثقني لا أضطرب فينتضح عليك من دمي إذا ذبحتني فشده فلما أخذ الشفرة فأراد أن يذبحه نودي من خلفه {أن يا إبراهيم قد صدقت الرؤيا}
