Muaz bin Jabal reported,

When death approached him, he said, "Bring the people in to see me." So they were brought in, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever dies not associating anything with Allah, Allah will admit him into Paradise.' I would not relate this to you except at the moment of death. The witness to that is Uwaymir Abu Darda."So they went to Abu Darda, who said, "My brother has spoken the truth. He would only relate it to you at the time of his death."

أنه إذ حضر قال أدخلوا علي الناس فأدخلوا عليه فقال إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من مات لا يشرك بالله شيئا جعله الله في الجنة وما كنت أحدثكموه إلا عند الموت والشهيد على ذلك عويمر أبو الدرداء فأتوا أبا الدرداء فقال صدق أخي وما كان يحدثكم به إلا عند موته
