A man came to him and asked, "What do you say about the words of Allah, 'For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter' [Yunus 10:64]?"He replied, "You have asked about something no one has asked me about since a man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it. He said, 'Their good tidings in the worldly life are the righteous dream that a Muslim sees or that is seen for him, and their good tidings in the Hereafter are Paradise.'"
حدثنا أبو معاوية قال ثنا الأعمش عن أبي صالح عن عطاء بن يسار عن رجل من أهل مصر
أتاه رجل فقال ما تقول في قول الله {لهم البشرى في الحياة الدنيا وفي الآخرة} قال لقد سألت عن شيء ما سمعت أحدا سأل عنه بعد رجل سأل عنه رسول الله ﷺ قال بشراهم في الحياة الدنيا الرؤيا الصالحة يراها المسلم أو ترى له وبشراهم في الآخرة الجنة
