Abu Darda reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds, the purest of them in the sight of your Sovereign, the highest in raising your ranks, better for you than giving away gold and silver, and better for you than meeting your enemy so that you strike their necks and they strike yours? It is the remembrance of Allah ."

حدثنا حجاج بن محمد حدثنا أبو معشر عن موسى بن عقبة عن زياد بن أبي زياد مولى ابن عياش

عن أبي الدرداء قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أخبركم بخير أعمالكم وأزكاها عند مليككم وأرفعها لدرجاتكم وخير لكم من إعطاء الذهب والورق وخير لكم من أن تلقوا عدوكم فتضربوا رقابهم ويضربون رقابكم ذكر الله عز وجل
