Abu Darda reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever hears a statement from a man that the man would not wish to be repeated about him, it is a trust, even if he did not ask him to keep it secret."

عن أبي الدرداء قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ من سمع من رجل حديثا لا يشتهي أن يذكر عنه فهو أمانة وإن لم يستكتمه
