The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you of something better in rank than prayer, fasting, and charity?"They replied, "Yes."He said, "Reconciling between people. For corruption between people is the shaver."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عمرو بن مرة عن سالم بن أبي الجعد عن أم الدرداء
قال رسول الله ﷺ ألا أخبركم بأفضل من درجة الصلاة والصيام والصدقة قالوا بلى قال إصلاح ذات البين وفساد ذات البين هي الحالقة
Its isnad is sahih, Abu Dawud narrated it 4/280, no. 4919, in the Book of Manners, and Tirmidhi 4/663, no. 2509, and graded it sahih, in the Description of the Day of Judgment, and Malik 2/111, in the Comprehensive Book, in what has been said about good character.
