Umm Fadl, daughter of Harith, brought Umm Habibah, daughter of Abbas, and placed her in the lap of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The child urinated on him, so Umm Fadl snatched her up and struck her between the shoulders, then snatched her away again.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Bring me a cup of water." He then poured it over the place where the child had urinated and said, "Pour water along the path of the urine."

جاءت أم الفضل ابنة الحارث بأم حبيبة بنت عباس فوضعتها في حجر رسول الله ﷺ فبالت فاختلجتها أم الفضل ثم لكمت بين كتفيها ثم اختلجتها فقال رسول الله ﷺ أعطيني قدحا من ماء فصبه على مبالها ثم قال اسلكوا الماء في سبيل البول

Its chain of transmission is daif, due to the weakness of Husayn bin Abdullah. It appears in Majma al-Zawaid 1:284, where it is said, Ahmad narrated it, and it contains Husayn bin Abdullah, whom Ahmad, Abu Zura, Abu Hatim, and Nasai declared daif, while Ibn Main declared him daif in one report and reliable in another.Umm Fadl is Lubaba bint Harith Hilaliyya, the wife of Abbas, and the full sister of Maymuna, mother of the believers. Umm Habiba bint Abbas was a young child at the time of the death of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Hafiz mentioned in al-Isaba 8:221 that the more well known form of her name is Umm Habib, without the ha.Ikhtalajatha means she pulled her and snatched her away.
