A beggar stopped at their door, and their grandmother Hawwa said to them, "Feed him some dates."They replied, "We have none."She said, "Then give him some sawiq to drink."They answered, "How strange of you! How can we feed him what we do not have?"She said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Do not turn away the beggar, even with a burnt hoof.'"
