The Prophet ﷺ was engaged in fighting an enemy and did not finish with them until the Asr prayer was delayed past its proper time. When he saw this, he said, "Allah, whoever has kept us from the middle prayer, fill their houses with fire and fill their graves with fire," or words to that effect.
حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثنا ثابت حدثنا هلال عن عكرمة
قاتل النبي ﷺ عدوا فلم يفرغ منهم حتى أخر العصر عن وقتها فلما رأى ذلك قال اللهم من حبسنا عن الصلاة الوسطى فاملأ بيوتهم نارا واملأ قبورهم نارا ونحو ذلك
Its isnad is sahih, and it is in Majma al-Zawaid 1:309, where he said, Ahmad and Tabarani in Kabir and Awsat narrated it, and its narrators are trustworthy. See 1326.
