Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Utba wrote to Abdullah bin Arqam, instructing him to visit Subayah bint Harith and ask her about the ruling the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had given her. She stated that she had been married to Saad bin Khawla, and he then mentioned the same meaning.
