Bint Zama reported,

I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "My father Zamah died, leaving behind a slave woman who had borne him a child. We used to suspect that she had been involved with a certain man, and when she gave birth, the child resembled the man we suspected."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "As for you, veil yourself from him, for he is not your brother. But he shall have the inheritance."

حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا إسرائيل عن منصور عن مجاهد عن مولى لآل الزبير قال إن

بنت زمعة قالت

أتيت رسول الله ﷺ فقلت إن أبي زمعة مات وترك أم ولد له وإنا كنا نظنها برجل وإنها ولدت فخرج ولدها يشبه الرجل الذي ظنناها به قال فقال ﷺ لها أما أنت فاحتجبي منه فليس بأخيك وله الميراث
