I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon at Arafat, saying, "Even if a slave is appointed over you who leads you by the Book of Allah, listen to him and obey."Abdullah said, I heard my father say, "I hold that he must be heard and obeyed in hardship and ease, in what is pleasing and in what is disliked."
