The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the afternoon prayer, and when he finished, he said, "This prayer was presented to those who came before you, but they grew lax about it and abandoned it. Whoever among you prays it will have his reward doubled twice over. There is no prayer after it until the witness appears, and the witness is the star."
حدثنا يعقوب قال حدثنا أبي عن ابن إسحاق قال حدثني يزيد بن حبيب عن خير بن نعيم الحضرمي عن عبد الله بن هبيرة السبائي وكان ثقة عن أبي تميم
صلى بنا رسول الله ﷺ صلاة العصر فلما انصرف قال إن هذه الصلاة عرضت على من كان قبلكم فتوانوا فيها وتركوها فمن صلاها منكم ضعف له أجرها ضعفين ولا صلاة بعدها حتى يرى الشاهد والشاهد النجم
