The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you pray, do not spit to your right or in front of you. Spit behind you, or to your left if that side is empty. Otherwise, do like this," and he spat under his foot.Waki and Abdul-Razzaq did not include the words "spit behind you," and they both said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن سفيان عن منصور عن ربعي
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا صليت فلا تبصق عن يمينك ولا بين يديك وابصق خلفك وعن شمالك إن كان فارغا وإلا فهكذا وذلك تحت قدمه ولم يقل وكيع ولا عبد الرزاق وابصق خلفك وقالا قال لي رسول الله ﷺ
