The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of companions are four, the best of raiding parties are four hundred, and the best of armies are four thousand."He also said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A force of twelve thousand will never be defeated on account of small numbers."
Its isnad is daif, due to the weakness of Habban bin Ali, as previously noted at 1164. Aqeel (with a diminutive form), Ibn Khalid al-Ayli, is trustworthy, a hafiz, an authority, one of the most reliable of people in narrating from Zuhri. The hadith has already been mentioned with another sahih isnad at 2682.
