Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a journey, he would arrive only in the forenoon. He would begin by going to the mosque, where he would pray two units of prayer and then sit for a while.

كان رسول الله ﷺ لا يقدم من سفر إلا في الضحى فيبدأ بالمسجد فيصلي فيه ركعتين ويقعد فيه
