Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

I came to her, meaning his wife, and she had with her some meat from the sacrificial animals which she had set aside. I raised the stick against her, but she said, "So-and-so came to us and informed us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I had previously forbidden you from keeping the meat of the sacrifices beyond three days, but now eat it and store it.'"

أتيت هذه يعني امرأته وعندها لحم من لحوم الأضاحي قد رفعته فرفعت عليها العصا فقالت إن فلانا أتانا فأخبرنا أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إني كنت نهيتكم أن تمسكوا لحوم الأضاحي فوق ثلاثة أيام فكلوا وادخروا
