I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A time will come upon people when they will stand for a while unable to find an imam to lead them in prayer."
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثتني أم غراب عن امرأة يقال لها عقيلة
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول يأتي على الناس زمان يقومون ساعة لا يجدون إماما يصلي بهم
Its isnad is daif. Aqilah Fazariyyah and Umm Ghurab Talha, their status is unknown. But the hadith is hasan. See Sunan Abu Dawud 1/58 no. 581 and what follows, Ibn Majah 1/314 no. 982, Abd bin Humayd 452 no. 1566, and Bayhaqi 3/129.
