I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ throwing pebbles at Jamrat al-Aqaba on the Day of Sacrifice from the bottom of the valley, and he was saying, "People, do not kill one another. When you throw the pebbles, throw small ones the size of date stones."She said that he threw seven pebbles and then departed without stopping. Behind him was a man shielding him from the crowd. I asked about him, and they said, "He is Fadl bin Abbas."

رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يرمي جمرة العقبة يوم النحر من بطن الوادي وهو يقول يا أيها الناس لا يقتلن بعضكم بعضا وإذا رميتم الجمار فارموا بمثل حصى الخذف قالت فرمى سبعا ثم انصرف ولم يقف قالت وخلفه رجل يستره من الناس فسألت عنه فقالوا هو الفضل بن عباس
