Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rose for prayer in the depth of the night, he would say, "O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth. To You belongs all praise. You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth. To You belongs all praise. You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all who dwell within them. You are the Truth, Your word is truth, Your promise is truth, the meeting with You is truth, Paradise is truth, the Fire is truth, and the Hour is truth. O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned in repentance, by Your help I have disputed, and to You I have brought my judgment. So forgive me what I have done before and what I will do later, what I have concealed and what I have made known. You are the One, there is no god but You."
Its isnad is sahih, and it is found in Muwatta 1:217. Al-Qiyaam means the same as Al-Qayyoom, that is, the one who does not pass away, and the one who stands over all things, meaning the one who manages the affairs of His creation. See also 2748.
