We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the expedition to Khaybar, and I was the sixth of six women. News reached the Prophet ﷺ that women were with the army, so he sent for us and called us over.She said, We saw anger on his face, and he asked, "What brought you out, and by whose permission did you come?"We replied, "We came out with you to hand out arrows, serve barley drink, treat the wounded with medicine we brought, and spin hair into thread to help in the cause of Allah."He said, "Get up and go back."But when Allah granted him victory at Khaybar, he allotted us shares like the shares of the men.I said to her, "Grandmother, what did he give you?"She said, "Dates."
حدثنا حسن بن موسى قال حدثنا رافع بن سلمة الأشجعي قال
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في غزوة خيبر وأنا سادسة ست نسوة قالت فبلغ النبي ﷺ أن معه نساء قالت فأرسل إلينا فدعانا قالت فرأينا في وجهه الغضب فقال ما أخرجكن وبأمر من خرجتن قلنا خرجنا معك نناول السهام ونسقي السويق ومعنا دواء للجرح ونغزل الشعر فنعين به في سبيل الله قال قمن فانصرفن قالت فلما فتح الله عليه خيبر أخرج لنا منها سهاما كسهام الرجال فقلت لها يا جدتي وما الذي أخرج لكن قالت تمر
