The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Ali, "You are to me as Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن موسى الجهني قال دخلت على فاطمة بنت علي فقال لها رفيقي أبو سهل كم لك قالت ستة وثمانون سنة قال ما سمعت من أبيك شيئا قالت حدثتني
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لعلي أنت مني بمنزلة هارون من موسى إلا أنه ليس بعدي نبي
Its isnad is sahih. Musa Juhani is Ibn Abdullah, and he is trustworthy, his hadith appears in Muslim. Haythami said, 9/109, "Its narrators are trustworthy." It is also found in Nasai's Fadail al-Sahabah, no. 40, and in Tabarani's Kabir, 24/246, no. 384.
