Its isnad is daif, because of the unknown identity of the mother of Muhammad bin Abu Yahya, but the permissibility of sacrificing a jadha (young sheep) is sahih. Bukhari 2/1 narrated it in the chapter on the Aid festivals, on eating on the day of sacrifice, and Tirmidhi 4/87 no. 1499, who said it is hasan, in the chapter on sacrifices, and likewise Ibn Majah, with its wording, 2/1049 no. 3139, and Tabarani in Al-Kabir 25/164 no. 397, and Bayhaqi 9/271.
