The Prophet ﷺ visited her, and she called for food to be brought for him. He said to her, "Eat."She replied, "I am fasting."The Prophet ﷺ said, "When people eat in the presence of someone who is fasting, the angels send blessings upon that fasting person until they finish." And perhaps he said, "until they complete their meal."
حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم قال حدثنا شعبة عن حبيب الأنصاري قال سمعت مولاة لنا يقال لها ليلى تحدث
أن النبي ﷺ دخل عليها فدعت له بطعام فقال لها كلي فقالت إني صائمة فقال النبي ﷺ إن الصائم إذا أكل عنده صلت عليه الملائكة حتى يفرغوا وربما قال حتى يقضوا أكلهم
