The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to one of his daughters as she was struggling in the throes of death. He bent over her and did not lift his head until she passed away. Then he raised his head and said, "Praise be to Allah. The believer is in a state of goodness. His soul is drawn out from between his sides while he praises Allah ."

Its isnad is hasan. Israil is the son of Yunus bin Abu Ishaq Subayi, and he is trustworthy. Whoever criticized him was mistaken, but he is mentioned among those who heard from Ata bin Saaib before his confusion set in, as we said at 1218. The hadith has already appeared at length with two sahih isnads at 2412 and 2475.
