Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There was never a prophet who did not have a supplication that was granted to him in this world, but I have saved my supplication as intercession for my community. I am the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and I say this without boasting. I am the first from whom the earth will split open, and I say this without boasting. In my hand will be the banner of praise, and I say this without boasting. Adam and all who came after him will be beneath my banner."He continued, "The Day of Resurrection will stretch long upon the people, until they say to one another, 'Come, let us go to Adam, the father of mankind, so that he may intercede for us with his Lord and He may judge between us.'So they will come to Adam and say, 'Adam, you are the one whom Allah created with His own hand, whom He settled in His Garden, and before whom He made His angels prostrate. Intercede for us with your Lord, that He may judge between us.'Adam will reply, 'I am not the one for that. I was expelled from the Garden because of my sin, and today nothing concerns me but myself. But go to Nuh, the foremost of the prophets.'So they will come to Nuh and say, 'Nuh, intercede for us with your Lord, that He may judge between us.'He will reply, 'I am not the one for that. I once made a supplication that drowned the people of the earth, and today nothing concerns me but myself. But go to Ibrahim, the friend of Allah .'"He said, "So they will come to Ibrahim and say, 'Ibrahim, intercede for us with your Lord, that He may judge between us.'He will reply, 'I am not the one for that. I told three untruths in the course of upholding Islam, and today nothing concerns me but myself.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He attempted them only for the sake of Allah's religion. They were his words, 'I am indeed sick' [Saffat 37:89], and his words, 'Rather, this greatest of them did it' [Anbiya 21:63], and his words about his wife, 'She is my sister.''But go to Musa , whom Allah chose for His message and His speech.'So they will come to Musa and say, 'Musa, you are the one whom Allah chose for His message and to whom He spoke. Intercede for us with your Lord, that He may judge between us.'He will reply, 'I am not the one for that. I killed a person when no life was owed for it, and today nothing concerns me but myself. But go to Isa, the spirit of Allah and His word.'So they will come to Isa and say, 'Isa, you are the spirit of Allah and His word. Intercede for us with your Lord, that He may judge between us.'He will reply, 'I am not the one for that. I was taken as a god besides Allah, and today nothing concerns me but myself.'Then he will ask them, 'Tell me, if goods were placed in a container and it was sealed shut, could anyone reach what was inside without breaking the seal?'They will answer, 'No.'So he will say, 'Muhammad ﷺ, the seal of the prophets, is present today, and he has been forgiven all of his sins, both those that came before and those that came after.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "So they will come to me and say, 'Muhammad, intercede for us with your Lord, that He may judge between us.'I will say, 'Yes, I am the one for it,' until Allah gives permission to whomever He wills and is pleased with. When Allah wishes to separate His creation into groups, a caller will call out, 'Where is Ahmad and his community?' We are the last yet the first. We are the last of the communities and the first to be brought to account. The other communities will part to clear a path for us, and we will pass through with radiant faces and limbs from the traces of purification, while the communities say, 'This community was almost entirely made up of prophets.'"He said, "Then I will come to the gate of the Garden and take hold of its ring and knock at the gate.It will be asked, 'Who are you?'I will say, 'Muhammad.'So it will be opened for me, and I will see my Lord upon His seat, or His throne, and I will fall down before Him in prostration and praise Him with praises that no one before me has ever praised Him with, and that no one after me will ever praise Him with.Then it will be said to me, 'Raise your head. Speak and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted.'"He said, "So I will raise my head and say, 'My Lord, my community, my community.'It will be said to me, 'Bring out of the Fire everyone who has such and such a weight in his heart.'So I will bring them out. Then I will return and fall down in prostration and praise Him with praises that no one before me has ever praised Him with, and that no one after me will ever praise Him with.Then it will be said to me, 'Raise your head. Speak and you will be heard, ask and you will be given, intercede and your intercession will be accepted.'So I will raise my head and say, 'My Lord, my community, my community.'It will be said, 'Bring out of the Fire everyone who has such and such a weight in his heart.'So I will bring them out."He said, and he said the same thing regarding the third time as well. In the first instance he said, "whoever has in his heart the weight of a barley grain of faith," in the second, "a wheat grain," and in the third, "an atom's weight."
