A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I have a co-wife. Is there any blame on me if I pretend to receive from my husband what he has not actually given me?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "The one who pretends to have received what he was not given is like one who wears two garments of falsehood."
حدثنا أبو معاوية قال حدثنا هشام بن عروة عن فاطمة بنت المنذر
جاءت إلى النبي ﷺ امرأة فقالت يا رسول الله إني على ضرة فهل علي جناح أن أتشبع من زوجي بما لم يعطني فقال رسول الله ﷺ المتشبع بما لم يعط كلابس ثوبي زور
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 9/317, no. 5219, in the Book of Marriage, and Muslim, 3/168, no. 2130, in the Book of Clothing, and Abu Dawud, 4/299, no. 4997, in the Book of Manners, and it has already appeared at 2526.
