Umm Hani said, "I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the conquest. I found him bathing, with Fatimah screening him with a garment. I greeted him, and this was in the forenoon."He asked, "Who is this?"I said, "It is I, Umm Hani." Then I said, "Messenger of Allah, my mother's son intends to kill a man to whom I have granted protection, so-and-so bin Hubayrah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "We grant protection to whomever you have granted it, Umm Hani."When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his bath, he stood and prayed eight cycles, wrapped in a single garment.
قال قرأت على عبد الرحمن بن مهدي هذا الحديث مالك عن أبي النضر مولى عمير بن عبيد الله أن أبا مرة مولى أم هانئ أخبره أنه سمع أم هانئ بنت أبي طالب ذهبت إلى رسول الله ﷺ يوم الفتح فذكر الحديث
