She went to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the Conquest. She said, I found him bathing while Fatimah was screening him with a garment. I greeted him, and this was in the forenoon.He asked, "Who is this?"I replied, "I am Umm Hani."I said, "Messenger of Allah, my mother's son claims that he is going to kill a man I have granted protection to, so-and-so bin Hubayrah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "We grant protection to whoever you have granted protection to, Umm Hani."When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his bath, he stood and prayed eight rakahs wrapped in a single garment.
حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن مالك عن أبي النضر عن أبي مرة مولى عقيل بن أبي طالب
أنها ذهبت إلى النبي ﷺ يوم الفتح قالت فوجدته يغتسل وفاطمة تستره بثوب فسلمت وذلك ضحى فقال من هذا فقلت أنا أم هانئ قلت يا رسول الله زعم ابن أمي أنه قاتل رجلا أجرته فلان بن هبيرة فقال رسول الله ﷺ قد أجرنا من أجرت يا أم هانئ فلما فرغ رسول الله ﷺ من غسله قام فصلى ثماني ركعات ملتحفا في ثوب
