On the day of the conquest of Makkah, Fatimah came and sat on his left, and Umm Hani came and sat on his right. A servant girl brought a drink, and the Prophet ﷺ took it and drank, then passed it to Umm Hani on his right.She said, "I have been fasting."He asked her, "Is it a fast you are obligated to make up?"She replied, "No."He said, "Then it does not harm you."
حدثنا أسود بن عامر قال حدثنا إسرائيل عن سماك عن رجل
لما كان يوم فتح مكة جاءت فاطمة حتى قعدت عن يساره وجاءت أم هانئ وقعدت عن يمينه وجاءت الوليدة بشراب فتناوله النبي ﷺ فشرب ثم ناوله أم هانئ عن يمينه فقالت لقد كنت صائمة فقال لها أشيء تقضينه عليك قالت لا قال لا يضرك إذا
Its chain of transmission is daif, due to the unknown identity of the narrator from Umm Hani. But the hadith is sahih, Hakim graded it sahih (1/439) and Dhahabi agreed with him. Hakim named the narrator, saying, from Simak, from Abu Salih, from Umm Hani. It is also found in Tirmidhi (3/100, no. 732), where he said, "There is criticism in its chain of transmission." Also in Tabarani's Awsat (2/365, no. 1635), and in Bayhaqi (4/277).
