I prepared water for the Prophet ﷺ to bathe with, and he performed the ritual bath from major impurity. He tipped the vessel with his left hand over his right hand and washed his hands three times. Then he put his hand into the vessel and poured water over his private parts, then rubbed his hand against the wall or the ground. He rinsed his mouth and nose three times, washed his face three times, and washed each forearm three times. Then he poured water over his head three times, then poured water over the rest of his body. Then he moved aside and washed his feet.
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا الأعمش عن سالم عن كريب قال حدثنا ابن عباس
وضعت للنبي ﷺ غسلا فاغتسل من الجنابة وأكفأ الإناء بشماله على يمينه فغسل كفيه ثلاثا ثم أدخل يده في الإناء فأفاض على فرجه ثم دلك يده بالحائط أو الأرض ثم مضمض واستنشق ثلاثا وغسل وجهه ثلاثا وذراعيه ثلاثا ثلاثا ثم أفاض على رأسه ثلاثا ثم أفاض على سائر جسده الماء ثم تنحى فغسل رجليه
