I prepared water for the Prophet ﷺ to bathe from major ritual impurity, and he bathed. Then I brought him a cloth after he had finished, but he gestured with his hand like this, meaning he refused it.
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا الأعمش عن سالم عن كريب قال حدثنا ابن عباس
وضعت للنبي ﷺ غسلا فاغتسل من الجنابة ثم أتيته بثوب حين اغتسل فقال بيده هكذا يعني رده

Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it, 1/371 no. 259, in ghusl, Muslim, 1/254 no. 317, in menstruation, Abu Dawud, 1/64 no. 245, Nasai, 1/138 no. 254, Ibn Majah, 1/158 no. 467, and Darimi, 1/194 no. 712, all of them in purification.
