Marwan said, "How can we ask anyone about this matter when the wives of the Prophet ﷺ are among us?"So he sent word to Umm Salama and asked her about it. She replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in to see me, and I pulled out a shoulder of meat for him from a pot. He ate from it and then went out to pray."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة قال أخبرني أبو عون قال سمعت
قال مروان كيف نسأل أحدا عن شيء وفينا أزواج النبي ﷺ فأرسل إلى أم سلمة فسألها فقالت دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ فنشلت له كتفا من قدر فأكل منها ثم خرج إلى الصلاة
