She arrived in Mecca while she was ill and mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Perform the circumambulation behind the people while riding."She said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while he was at the Kaabah, reciting Surah at-Tur."Ubayy said, "And I recited it to Abdul-Rahman."She said, "So I performed the circumambulation while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was at that moment praying beside the House, reciting 'By at-Tur, and by a Book inscribed' [Tur 52:1–2]."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن مالك عن أبي الأسود عن عروة عن زينب بنت أم سلمة
أنها قدمت وهي مريضة فذكرت ذلك للنبي ﷺ فقال طوفي من وراء الناس وأنت راكبة قالت فسمعت رسول الله ﷺ وهو عند الكعبة يقرأ بالطور قال أبي وقرأته على عبد الرحمن قالت فطفت ورسول الله ﷺ حينئذ يصلي بجنب البيت وهو يقرأ بالطور وكتاب مسطور
