Marwan said, "How can we ask anyone else when the wives of the Prophet ﷺ are among us?" So he sent word to Umm Salama, who informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was heading out to the prayer when she pulled out a piece of shoulder meat from a pot for him, which he ate, then he went out and prayed.
