"Whoever rises in the morning in a state of major ritual impurity should not fast."So Abu Bakr and his father Abdul-Rahman went and entered upon Umm Salama and Ayesha, and both of them said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to rise in the morning in a state of major ritual impurity not caused by a wet dream, and then he would fast."Abu Bakr and his father Abdul-Rahman went and came to Marwan and informed him. He then said, "I insist that you both go to Abu Hurairah and tell him this."So they went to Abu Hurairah and informed him.He asked, "Did the two of them really say this to you?"They replied, "Yes."He said, "They know better. I was only told this by Fadl bin Abbas."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن جريج قال حدثني عبد الملك بن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن بن الحارث بن هشام عن أبيه أنه سمع
من أصبح جنبا فلا يصوم فانطلق أبو بكر وأبوه عبد الرحمن حتى دخلا على أم سلمة وعائشة فكلتاهما قالت كان رسول الله ﷺ يصبح جنبا من غير احتلام ثم يصوم فانطلق أبو بكر وأبوه عبد الرحمن فأتيا مروان فحدثاه ثم قال عزمت عليكما لما انطلقتما إلى أبي هريرة فحدثتماه فانطلقا إلى أبي هريرة فأخبراه قال هما قالتاه لكما فقالا نعم قال هما أعلم إنما أنبأنيه الفضل بن عباس
