The other wives of the Prophet ﷺ refused to allow anyone to enter upon them on the basis of that nursing. They said to Ayesha, "By Allah, we do not see this as anything but a special concession the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted to Salim alone. No one will enter upon us through this kind of nursing, nor will anyone see us through it."

كانت تقول أبى سائر أزواج النبي ﷺ أن يدخلن عليهن أحدا بتلك الرضاعة وقلن لعائشة والله ما نرى هذا إلا رخصة أرخصها رسول الله ﷺ لسالم خاصة فما هو بداخل علينا أحد بهذه الرضاعة ولا رائينا
