The Prophet ﷺ would sometimes be overtaken by dawn while in a state of major ritual impurity from being with his wife. He would then bathe and continue his fast.Ibn Bakr said, "The two wives of the Prophet ﷺ."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق وابن بكر قالا أنا ابن جريج قال وحدثني ابن شهاب عن أبي بكر بن عبد الرحمن عن أبيه عبد الرحمن
أن النبي ﷺ كان يدركه الفجر وهو جنب من أهله ثم يغتسل فيصوم قال ابن بكر زوجتي النبي ﷺ
