The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The mukatab pays blood-money in proportion to the portion of him that has been freed at the rate of a free man, and for the portion that remains in slavery at the rate of a slave."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا أبان العطار حدثنا يحيى بن أبي كثير عن عكرمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ المكاتب يودى ما أعتق منه بحساب الحر وما رق منه بحساب العبد
