I performed the Hajj with my masters and went in to see Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ. I asked her, "Should I perform Umrah before I perform Hajj?"She replied, "If you wish, perform Umrah before Hajj, and if you wish, do so after Hajj."I said, "People are saying that whoever has never performed Hajj before is not permitted to perform Umrah before Hajj."So I asked the Mothers of the Believers, and they said the same as she had said. I returned to her and told her what they had said. She replied, "Yes, and let me give you what will satisfy you. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Family of Muhammad, enter the state of ihram with Umrah combined with Hajj.'"
