When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her, he stayed with her for three days and said, "You are not insignificant in the eyes of your family. If you wish, I will stay with you for seven days, but if I do so, I will then stay seven days with each of my other wives."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن سفيان قال حدثني محمد بن أبي بكر عن عبد الملك بن أبي بكر عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ لما تزوجها أقام عندها ثلاثة أيام وقال إنه ليس بك على أهلك هوان وإن شئت سبعت لك وإن سبعت لك سبعت لنسائي
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim reported it, 2/1083, no. 1460, in the chapter on breastfeeding, Abu Dawud, 2/240, no. 2122, Ibn Majah, 1/617, no. 917, Darimi, 2/194, no. 2210, and Malik, 2/529, no. 14, all of them in the chapter on marriage.
